2 day swim with Dolphins in Florida Keys

Head to the Florida Keys for a memorable Dolphin Encounter and a thrilling Everglades Airboat adventure. This excursion includes round-trip transportation from Orlando, your overnight accommodation plus dinner and breakfast and your swim with the dolphins will either take place on the first afternoon or the following morning.

In contrast to other dolphin swim programmes that limit the interaction to a shallow water encounter, this dolphin swim experience takes place in a natural ocean water lagoon that is around 15 feet deep. During the one-on-one encounter you can experience foot pushes, dorsal tows, water fights, kisses and handshakes as well as a number of other behaviours. All this takes place under the watchful gaze of an experienced dolphin trainer. The entire programme lasts around 2 hours and all participants must wear a life vest irrespective of their swimming ability.

Day two starts with a wild airboat ride in the Everglades – as you zip across the water look out for the local alligators and hold on to your hat for the 180 and 360 degree spins! Once back on dry land you then get to see an alligator and snake handling show with a chance to hold an alligator and some snakes! The return journey to Orlando takes you via Miami’s Bayside shopping area and the chance to visit a whole host of designer shops, boutiques and eateries.

PLEASE NOTE:
Swimmers must be 7 years old or above and children aged 7 to 12 years old doing the Dolphin Swim must be accompanied in the program by a participating parent or guardian.

Non-swim tickets are available and include all of the inclusions above except the Swim with Dolphins programme. The ticket does include entrance to the Dolphin Plus Facility in Key Largo.

Prices are based on a minimum of 2 persons travelling. Single passengers are welcome, but a single supplement of £57 is applicable.

Room Occupancies – rooms accommodate up to four persons. Parties of 4 persons or less will be accommodated in one room. If there are more than 4 persons in your group you will be allocated 2 rooms. If you require an additional room for your party, a £57 per room supplement applies. Please call our reservation to book on 0800 975 0002 if you require an additional room.

Baby’s 0-2 years are free of charge, but must sit on a parents’ lap. There is a small charge of $10-15 for a cot, which is payable to the hotel locally.

Is a hotel pick-up included?

All tours run from central location points (unless otherwise stated), and you will need to make your own way to one of these. This is a change to arrangements from previous years, but has been implemented to save you time sitting on a coach that calls at each hotel in Orlando – that’s a lot of hotels! The result is a much more fluid and punctual tour that will add to your enjoyment of the day.

Where will my tour depart from?

The pick-up locations are arranged so that you do not need to travel too far to your nearest point. The actual location will be given at the time of booking when you advise us of your hotel.
In the event that you do not have your hotel information available at the time of booking, you will be advised of your pick-up point when you call to reconfirm your tour in resort.

How do we confirm a date for the tour?

All dates can be booked in advance through Attraction Tickets Direct. Should you wish to leave the date open, no problem, just call the tour provider once you arrive in Florida. To avoid disappointment we recommend booking a date before you travel, particularly for Manatees, Dolphins and Basketball. For Disney VIP meals, you must book a date in advance.
