Kennedy Space Center, FL - Only 12 men have walked on the moon. Now moviegoers at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will be next. Through the magic of IMAX® 3D, Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D takes audiences to the lunar surface to walk alongside the 12 extraordinary astronauts who have been there to experience what they saw, heard, felt, thought and did.

There is no better place to witness this awe-inspiring interpretation of man walking on the moon than from where the Apollo missions launched: Kennedy Space Center.

Presented and narrated by Tom Hanks, Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D features rarely seen NASA footage, Computer Generated Images (CGI) and live-action renditions of the lunar landscape to propel audiences nearly a quarter-million miles above the Earth's surface. These various elements, combined with IMAX® 3D technology, crystal clear images and state-of-the-art digital surround sound, provide a completely immersive cinematic experience.
