One of the major attractions of San Francisco is its proximity to California’s major wine producing region. Sonoma and Napa counties' Mediterranean climate makes them the premium wine-grape growing provinces of North America.
On this California Wine Country tour from San Francisco, discover Napa Valley, Sonoma and all that the Northern California wine country has to offer. Explore both large scale/high tech and small boutique wineries and learn about wine production plus enjoy sampling the local produce. Lunch opportunities abound at either Sonoma's historic Town Square or Yountville's rustic Vintage 1870 (lunch not included) and in the afternoon travel down the Silverado trail – a peaceful and scenic route through the wine country. The final highlight is your return to San Francisco over the Golden Gate Bridge.
