Out of all the attractions in Orlando, swimming with Dolphins really is a once in a lifetime opportunity. People say you have to book over 12 months in advance for the summer months and if you contact a US company then this is the case. There are, however, several UK vendors that have availability within 12 months and this often works out cheaper. Get there early on the day because swim times are allocated on arrival. They start at 9am so get there around 8am if you can. Don’t worry though, there’s loads of other things to keep you occupied.
Must see / Do:
Snorkel to the Coral Reef and see exotic fish, sting rays and the remains of a shipwreck. I was shocked to see Barracuda and Sharks down there but, as I was informed before I swam, they are safely behind protective glass. This is a real bonus to the dolphin swim experience.

I really thought I had missed out on the dolphin experience because when I called Attraction Tickets Direct to make a booking at Discovery Cove and it was full on the day I wanted however Chris there said had I thought of doing the Twilight discovery. It didn't start until 3.00pm so we did a bit of shopping and then went there.
We were really lucky it was a lovely warm afternoon so we just sat around the resort pool before we had the time with the dolphins. I was not sure what they meant by an interaction with the dolphins but all that meant was you were in the water with the dolphins so we could touch them as they swam past us and the trainers gave us a talk about the dolphins. We went to the snorkeling area and really enjoyed seeing all the different colourful fish. I was not too sure about feeding the birds from my hands but my 2 kids did.
It was a lovely warm evening when we sat down for our meal and the music really set the scene. The kids really enjoyed the desserts, it was fun having them on the beach and there was so much of it. We stayed right to the end and Discovery Cove gave us a really picture of us all in the pool with the dolphins.
I would certainly do the Twilight Discovery again.
