Experience the desert as only few have seen it as your magnificent hot air balloon gently soars over the magical Arabian Desert at around 3000 feet. The Dubai balloon adventure starts with a pre-dawn drive to the launch site in the heart of the desert. With the sun slowly rising on the horizon, the gas burners are ignited and the balloon slowly comes to life. Soon you are rising into the immense blue of the desert sky affording spectacular views of giant sand dunes, the moon-like landscape of the rugged Hajjar Mountains to the east, and the ‘21st-century sky line of Dubai to the west as you rise high into the immense blue of the desert sky. The Dubai balloon flight lasts for around an hour and each experience is totally unique with the flight route and landing location totally dependent on the wind strength and direction. Land among the sand dunes and enjoy some light refreshments including chilled fruit juice, sodas and snacks before experiencing the thrill of desert driving as you are whisked back through the dunes to the main road for Dubai.

Operates: Daily, except Fridays mid-September to May (flight does not operate in the summer months due to the heat).

Start Time: Early morning just before sunrise (normally around 4.30am-5.00am).

Duration: Around 4 hours including a 60-minute balloon flight.
