Wicksteed park

We went Wicksteed park on friday as we live with in walking distance, It was a real let down low, the prices for parking, tickets and food have gone through the roof, the tickets for rides have gone up by nearley 50%, and some of the rides have had the amount of tickets for each ride increased, so if you take the ladybird rollercoaster which is one of my sons favorites, it has gone from 1 ticket to 2 tickets, plus with the price of tickets rising from £13.50 to £20 for 30 tickets, this means this particular ride has gone up by nearly 150%, I emailed Wicksteed park but they werent that interested with my complaint :mad:

I think that one you go to florida and see the great value you get it's hard for anywhere else to compare.

Sounds like a bit of a rip off now to me.

To be honest, as I live in the N/E, the only time I go to Wicksteed Park is for a Ford car show in May (Fiesta In The Park).

Oh, the music on their website is also really annoying. :D

thats terrible ADY, they obviously dont know what customer service is!!!!

if everyone thinks the same when they visit they wont return either & the place will close unless they radically alter their park!!!!!

does sound like a rip off too, considering alton towers has a similar enterance fee & they are much better, if one company can do it so can the rest hey :)

I sent Wicksteed park a email, listing my complaints, I had a letter back from the manerging Director, telling me they had not increased the amounts of tickets required for any of there rides, well I no thay have, I cant belive the manerging director of the park has blatently lied to me, Why coundent he just be honest :mad:

Ive given up with the place its crap any way, thats why I go to Florida for proper theme parks, the sooner I move there the better :eek:
