Help - I've just booked a holiday for my family and sister-in-laws lot - having started looking around at the varius tickets for the parks, I'm finding it a bit bewildering - I've heard that you can get carried away and book too many! - ie 10 day World Park and 5 Park Flexiticket - any recommendations for a 2 week holiday please!!

I would recommend a 4 or 5 park orlando flexticket that covers all of the theme parks other than Disney. The minimum Disney ticket that you can pre-purchase from the UK is a 5 Day Disney Hopper

It really depends on whos going, if its all adults or even older children then go for the 5 park flexi ticket.

if there are young children then go for the disney parks. you can even buy a universal 2 day ticket extra

just work out where you want to go and plan it arround that.

What i did was i got the 5 park flexi ticket and brought a ticket to disney at the gate.

have fun what ever you buy !!!

I agree with Mr Orlando. However you should also realise - and I am sure you have read this - that it can be extremely hard work. Early mornings, late nights - you really need to allow yourself a day off in between or go to one of the more relaxing parks - Sea World or Gatorland (very small). If I had a pound for every husband-wife tiff and crying children I had seen in Disney etc, I would be a millionaire.
The key to it all is planning - there are many guides. Try to get a copy of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney by Schelinger - loads of tips from what direction to walk around the park (do you know most people walk to the left on entering!) to planning your route. Yes, it sounds like a military campaign and may feel like it at many times. Good luck!

 Last time in Orlando I purchased 5 day park hopper plus tickets and two day Universal Tickets and still came home with two days on park hoppers plus one day on Universal, also exhausted as we tried to do too much. Am just back from another visit having again bought five day park hoppers and Busch Gardens and Seaworld Adventure passports. I still came home with two days on the hoppers, but used Universal from last visit. Can definately recomend Seaworld and Bush Gardens as they are great parks and did not have to queue longer than five minutes for any of the rides or shows. Also the Disney water parks as they are like a day off.
Do not try to do it all as it is impossible, and you will need another holiday when you get home.

I am going for 2 weeks in November and am planning to buy a 5 day hopper for Disney, a 5 park flexticket for Universal, Sea World etc and a ticket for Space Kennedy Centre. I want some time off to do shopping in between!!
