We flew from London last October. The International flight was on a new ish plane, with seat back tv's. The internal flight was on an old plane, but it's only for about 2hrs or so.
I would go with them again, but it makes live easier to fly direct if possible.
You wont have any problems with them.
have a great time

Flew with Monarch last Summer to Gran Canaria (don't go there if you have a choice, AWFUL). My son left his gameboy on the plane and they could trace it in the airport when we were going home but no chance of ever getting it back again !! -- BAGGAGE HANDLERS MUST GET LOTS OF FREEBEES!! Flight was OK but food s**t. Think the planes were held togehter with sellotape!! Good luck

I'm flying to Sanford with Monarch on the 20th May so hope it's better than these reports. I have used them before to fly to Vegas from Gatwick and the planes were excellent but that was back in 1998. Anybody know what their new fleet of planes consist off for Transatlantic ?
