Hi all!
We are preparing to take a trip over to the UK and France, but found a wonderful flight deal to Dublin from the US, so decided to stop there first.
We only have one day, really, but we arrive at 5am and will have the whole day and an overnight stay. We have a few things on our must-see list but, given our limited time and desire not to travel beyond Dublin this time around, I would love some input!
We do want to see the Guinness Storehouse, Kilmainham Gaol and have lunch at a nice pub. We are taking our 14 year old son with us as his first overseas trip, so the pub needs to be family-friendly while still being authentic. ;)
If you are familiar with Dublin, can you tell me if the bus tour that allows you to get on and off is a good deal? We also thought about getting the pass that allows you to visit several attractions along the bus route. Is that a good idea?
What would you recommend? I'm open to any useful information you can give me! :)
