All the info I could find out was they used wide boddied jets. On their web site they state they own Airbus so expect it is a 330 for the Florida route. If you haven't booked yet, I suggest you check out the rates with Airtours from Belfast. 171 quid for flight inc taxes and inc motel for 281 for a week and 324 for two weeks.

Hi,

Icelandic have a range of aircraft, but for the long haul, they usually use the 747 Jumbo or the A330 airbus, they are usually very good.

We flew with Iceland Air last year to Orlando and all I can say is Sardines! This was the worst flight I'd ever been on. Although, to put it in perspective if it was the only way to get to Orlando I would suffer the flight. I'm 5'4 in height and when I was sitting up straight my knees touched the seat in front, so you can imagine how my bf felt being 6ft. He had to sit with his legs in the aisle. The food was ok the usual standard of airplane food, it filled a gap. There are no screens at the back of the seats just a few smaller ones in the ceiling.
