Unsuccessful VISA application

Dear all,

As my boyfriend had a previous conviction on his record (from some years ago) he was advised to apply for a VISA to travel to the US for a holiday.

After traveling to London and queing for 6 hours he was told within 3 minutes that he was unsuccessful.

Is there anything we can do or does this mean we definately cannot travel to the US??

I would check with the Foreign Office http://www.fco.gov.uk they should help.

Regards the criminal offence, it really depends how long ago irt was and how serious the offence was.


You could try to get advice from Virgin Atlantic, British Airways or another airline.
