Help!!
We've finally managed to persuade my parents to come to Florida (v. handy for a bit of babysitting!) but my mum has coeliac's and needs to eat a gluten-free diet. Here you can buy gluten-free food in supermarkets, but does anyone know if this is the same in Florida? Or how easy it is to eat out?? Any advice would be great!!

Certainly availible in supermarkets out there. Dont forget how many diet fads the americans go through, even when not needed. Also last time we went we went for lacto/gluten free meal on the plane and it was fanstastic. plus you get your meal first! :D

If you know where you are going to dine, call ahead and ask if the Chef can prepare a special meal for you. Usually it is no problem. If you aren't sure where you'll dine, ask when you arrive. Often the chef will come out to your table and talk to you before they prepare your meal (not always, but often).

One exception to this is Wolfgang Pucks in Downtown Disney. I recently had an email from a Planner client whose granddaughter is gluten intollerant and they had no problems anywhere but Wolfgang Puck. Just a little tip in case you are considering dining there. :)
