Can someone please help??

My son turns 7 next week, two weeks before we go on holiday.
He's decided to forgo a party in favour of a character meal in Florida.

I've read through a few threads on here but am still confused.
Is there a meal which includes the Toy Story Characters, or Incredibles etc - the more 'boy' type characters???? Or is there a classic Disney meal....you know, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto etc??
And how do I book??....we go in 3 weeks time!!

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

I have a 7 year old.

Chef Mickeys is good for Mickey and Minny Mouse, Donald Duck etc. We had a wonderful breakfast at the Ohana restaurant at the Polynesian resort with Lilo and Stitch, Mickey and Goofy.

Don't recall a Toy Story character meal but you could ring Disney Reservations to find out more. The number is on the Disney website if you click on the Dining finder

AS far as i know its just the "main" characters who attend character meals. They are all themed differently though i.e at Chef Mickeys they all come out in chef's whites, at Breakfastasourus they come out in safari type clothes etc.

Mellymouse to make an advance dinner reservation you need to call 001-407-939-3463. Lines open at 12 noon UK time. You can book most meals at 180 days in advance. With only 3 weeks to go there may not be a lot of time slots left to choose from. You will be asked a lot of questions that don't really apply to you so just keep pressing the hash/pound key (sorry the one on my keyboard isn't working!) and eventually you will end up spkg to a real person. Have a list of alternatives at hand just in case before you ring.

If you check out www.allears.net and look under Character Dining it will list all the characters at each meal. It also lists the menus too.

Happy dining!

p.s. I think you can do character dining at Universal, I'm sure there's one with Spiderman. Can anyone else help with this?

I was just about to mention the character meal at Confiscos (Islands of Adventure). :D It does feature Spiderman as well as various other Universal characters.

The Toy Story Meal was scrapped in favour of the Playhouse Disney characters. Bummer. :(

As LindaM says, Chef Mickey's is one of the best. It is likely to be booked solid by now, but it doesn't hurt to try. Garden Grill is another option, with Mickey, Chip, Dale and Pluto. Mickey sometimes appears at Donald's Breakfastasaurus, while Pooh and Friends are the hosts at Crystal Palace.

As a last-chance if everything else is booked up, you may want to consider Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort, where Goofy, Chip, Dale and Pluto appear. And don't forget about Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness (likely to be booked up by now, but you never know!).

Bring the whole family and enjoy breakfast with Spider-Man and The Cat in the Hat
at Islands of Adventure's Confisco Grille,
each Thursday through Sunday morning from park opening to 10:30 a.m.

The breakfast is $15.95 for Adults and $9.95 for children, plus tax and gratuity.

Call 407-224-4012 for reservations.

It is on the Universal website (but you have to dig for it!). Go to universalorlando.com, then the Islands of Adventure section (under Theme Parks), then click on the Dining link. The details are exactly the same as on Allearsnet, though, as Veronica points out (I think Allears may just have copied them, as they are word-for-word the same!).

The breakfast at Ohanas at the Poly is good for boys, with stitch, pluto, and Mickey in his hawaiian shirt as well as Lilo. My son enjoyed it there.
