Picnics

Can anyone tell me if you are able to take Picnics into any of the Disney Parks, I know when we visited EuroDisney a couple of years ago we were able to take in our own sandwiches but not sure if this is the case in Florida.

Disney's policy used to be 'no food or drink in the parks'. They have softened that a bit and you can bring snacks in now (sandwiches should be fine). They don't want any rolling coolers, etc, but throwing a few sandwiches in your bag or backpack is acceptable.

Yeah most of the guards are fine about it. You could always tell them you are all dibetic and need the food though! :D

hi, dont know when you are going, but just remember when taking a picnic that it can get very hot and sandwiches etc will need something to keep them cool. also if you are planning on an early start you wont want to lug heavy bags around with you so your best bet is to hire a locker and return to your picnic when you are ready to eat. we found that if you eat buffet breakfast you dont need much midday, so ice cream/cookies was enough until dinnertime. have a good holiday.
