A question on behalf of one of our customers....

Does anyone know how much pram hire is within the Parks and also, is it possible to hire these at various locations or just at the front gate??

Any help would be much appreciated as guests are packing now and want to know whether to take their pram!!

Thanks

Chris

All the parks do pushchair (stroller hire) normally near the entrance, sorry never had need of one so don't know cost. Not sure if you can hire them anywhere else but at the entrance. However don't forget that you still need to get the baby/toddler from the car to the entrance and that can be a long way!

Evening chris

I got this from the Universal Studios website:

Guests can rent strollers, wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV) upon entrance to either theme park, to the left side of each park's entrance.

The rental fees are as follows:

Single Strollers: $11.00 per day
Double Strollers: $17.00 per day

Not sure about prams - did you mean the strollers?

And this from SeaWorld

Single Stroller
Already packed to the max? Leave the stroller at home and rent one! Our deluxe Single Strollers provide a handy storage shelf for diaper bags and packages, and the retractable sunshade protects your child from too much sun. All strollers have safety straps. Take it easy and make it easy with a Single Stroller!

Single Stroller Prices: $9.39 + tax. No discounts available for online reservations. Recommended weight is 50 lbs. Prices are subject to change.

Double Stroller
Traveling with two tiny tots, or plan to do some shopping? Check out our roomy Double Stroller! You’ll find plenty of storage space for bags and souvenirs on the convenient storage shelf, plus two cozy kid-sized seats for toddlers or bags. Double Strollers also offer retractable sunshades and secure safety straps. Lighten your load with a convenient Double Stroller!

Double Stroller Prices: $16.90 + tax. No discounts available for online reservations. Recommended weight is 100 lbs. Prices are subject to change.

They could buy a stroller from walmart for around $20, much cheaper than hiring one. Our friends once forgot their stroller and bought one from there.

Thats certainly a better Idea than hireing one each day

Hi

You can only hire them at the entrance of the parks, first couple of times we visited we took one stroller and bought a cheap one from Toys r us near the Florida Mall but now they have got bigger we hired one for the odd day when we knew we were gonna have a long day. Both have fors and againsts, depends on how old the child is and whether you will be going elsewhere ie not the parks. Other thing is the hire strollers are not that comfortable in Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom as they are plastic but Mgm were better as fabric so if it is for a little one I would say take or buy. :)

You can buy a length-of-stay pass for all the Disney parks; i.e. paying a one-off fee the first time you visit and then just using it every time you visit a Disney park while you are there. It still costs $8/day, so the obvious saving of buying your own at Wal-Mart (or Target, Toys R Us, even the likes of Walgreens and Publix) should make that a no-brainer, provided you have a hire car to go and visit one of those stores. Millie makes a good point about the varying quality/usefulness, though, of the theme park pushchairs, which is another good reason to buy your own for the duration and just 'donate' it to your hotel/villa when you leave!

I believe Give Kids the World still takes stroller donations. They are a non-profit organisation who provide Disney holidays to children with life threatening illnesses. They are always in need of donations of all kinds.
