It won't be possible to 'see it all', so you will have to make some choices. If you want to concentrate on the parks, you should be able to fit all 4 Disney parks (twice at MK and Epcot), SeaWorld, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, a water park day and 2 shopping days in quite comfortably. If you then want to add Busch Gardens, the I-Drive minor attractions, an airboat ride or another park visit, you would still have time.
What do you most want to do?

Hi Lisa. As Susan says, you certainly won't be able to do everything in the Orlando area in just two weeks (let alone the USA!!), but if you read up on everything that is there and work out what you most want to do, you will have an action-packed fortnight! The important thing is to find out what there is to do first, then plan accordingly. It is hard to do more than one park a day and you want to make sure you have at least one day for shopping and another day for just relaxing (it can be very tiring!). The simple fact is, you will have fun with everything you do - just don't try to do TOO much!

This is what we normally do
2 days at MK and Epcot
2 days at Universal Studios, 1 day at Island of adventure but we sometimes combine the third day half a day at US and half a day at IoA (we all love these parks)
1 day at Animal Kingdom
1 day at MGM
1 day at Busch Gardens
1 day at Seaworld
We then do a day such as Discovery Cove or swimming with the Manatees and this time we will visit the Kennedy Space Centre. One day for rest but we'll probably go shopping.
It is really hectic but we all manage to keep going adults and children alike. You can always rest when you get home and on the plane.
Get plenty of fluids, have rests as you go round the parks, make sure you get good food to eat and you should be all right.

my best tip is something for you NOT to do (i've said this in another post) and that is......
when you see the big orange shop on the 192 and you think to yourself "i wouldn't mind going and having a look around there"
DON'T
we went and to say it was 'not very nice' would be an understatement, IMO

Visit the boardwalk at night. You can walk round to the beachclub and sit on the beach, the cast membrs make a 'campfire' and sell marshmallows that you can toast. The kids loved doing this and then we watched a Lilo & stitch on the beach. They put an inflatable t.v screen up and show a disney film at 9pm. You can also see the epcot fireworks from the boardwalk.

well the oranges that they had on display outside looked like they where older than me and the inside of the shop was just like so many other what i call 'tat' shops. you know the type selling disney T's with 1999 splashed across the front. but what i said earlier and in this thread is just my opinion and other people may find it all together different.
just thinking about 'tat' shops reminds me of a sign i saw outside one of them, i think it was on the 192 near the flea market which read
"the 99cents shop - everything 99cents"
then on a seperate banner underneath it read
"6 disney T's only $10"
certainly made me laugh:laughing:

What you call tat shops we call toot shops, know the ones you mean really tacky ornaments and mugs. However went into the Bargain World near Ponderosa on the 192 the other day and got a nice t-shirt and a sweat shirt for about $10 each and they are good quality as have bought some on other visits and they wash well.:)

i must admit bargain world is one of the better 'tat' shops, my better half loves going in and having a walk around after our meal in ponderosa. also her dad likes to go in as well to "stroll amongst the t' shirts" as he calls it, without going into to much detail lets just say that not many people would follow him round amongst the t' shirts;);)

Another offbeat breakfast (and lunch) choice is the Le Peep chain of restaurants, who also boast a fun, friendly style, as well as great choice for breakfast and brunch. The only one in Orlando is on Kirkman Road. Check them out at www.lepeep.com.

Sorry Mikeymouse missed your post while we were away!
We have eaten in Applebees, Chillis, Sizzler, Dennys, Pizzahut,Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans, Bongos (Cuban cafe in Downtown Disney), Burger King (not impressed) and Friendlys...maybe some other places but I can't think at the moment....jet lagged.
We were going to go into Perkins yesterday for our last meal on the way to the airport but couldn't find it.

I keep going on the computer as if I sit down on the sofa I fall asleep and I want to get my body clock back to UK time! It definitely gets harder the older you get. Hubby really wants to watch the New England-Dallas NFL game on at the moment but he keeps dozing off!!! Think he may have to rewatch it tomorrow.

LOL, Catlady. It can definitely get you that way!! BTW, the Dallas game has just finished - BIG win for the Patriots, and they look pretty awesome over the first 6 games this season.
