Hi,

I'm going to Orlando next year (May '06) as part of a multi-centre holiday. We're stopping off at New York for 3 nights, then onto Las Vegas to get married, followed by a trip to Orlando for 7 nights for our honeymoon. Because there's so much to see and do and we'll be there for such a short time, I'm really stuck with what attractions to visit - or more realistically, what to miss out. We won't have a car during the holiday either, although we'll be staying on International Drive.

If anyone could give me any advice/hints/tips on what to do, I'd be really grateful. I don't really want to spend a load of money on attractions that I'll only be able to spend a couple of hours in but I'd like to see as much as possible aswell!

Many Thanks!

If it was me i'd hire a car for sure ! Makes getting about so much easier.

Having said that you can make good use of the I - Ride bus which will take you all along I Drive & to the gates of SeaWorld .

Most hotels run a shuttle bus to the parks. But for a honeymoon there are two things that i would have to do in Orlando.

1. Have a day @ Discovery Cove swimming with the Dolphins. A fantastic experiance THE perfect surprise for any honeymoon partner.

2. Visit the Cirque De Soleil show in Downtown Disney . A real spectacular show not to be missed.

Hope you have a fabulous time & be nice to each other !

Hi, we have just returned from 3 weeks in Florida - it was fantastic! Don't miss the Fantasmic evening show at MGM - it is absolutely amazing. Swimming with dolphins is a must (don't forget a waterproof disposable camera). You must visit Magic Kingdom - your first glimpse of Cinderella's castle is truly magical! Have a great time...

Hi all,

Thanks for the info, it was really helpful. I've now booked my holiday and decided to take your advice and hire a car while we're out in Orlando. Really looking forward to it. Hoping to take a few of the sights in that you suggested aswell.

Thanks again!
