The new Maverick coaster is a HUGE hit, and makes use of the loading building of a former water ride. This is less than half the queue, but it's pretty and (like all of Cedar Point) takes best advantage of the natural scenery.

Brian, the PR man at Cedar Point, told me they had done so much with the mega-coasters that they decided their newest coaster, Maverick, would be completely different. We listened to dozens of carloads of riders as they exited and everyone was raving about it. It's small enough to be a great family ride, but bucks like a bronco, making it a fantastic thrill even for mega-coaster fans. Our 14 year old loves it, and that's saying a lot!

SImon and Ben (in the back row) give their opinion of Maverick. They rode again in the front, which Ben says is even better!

Too hungry to remember a photo BEFORE we ate, so here are the sorry remains.
