That's very interesting news, Obi, thanks for posting :happy-thumb
I wonder if this proves the point that the market to Florida is NOT going into a drastic decline and also shows that more people want to travel independently rather than on a tour operator package?

i always wondered why BA didnt have two services to MCO at peak times, becuase IIRC Virgin do.

yes, Virgin have two flights per day from gatwick, plus one flight per day from manchester going into Orlando.
At peak times this increases with an additional flight from manchester.
Plus the peak scottish holidays flights from Glasgow.
I do wonder if BA are looking to tap into the reduction of seats on TCD.
Don't really understand the Wednesday flights however??

Maybe they are trying to capture those who resent paying weekend suppliments. I know i never fly on the weekend if i can help it.

i have mentioned this before but i always book through kuoni and ba.aberdeen to gatwick then on to florida plus 2 weeks hotel.it always works out cheaper than flight only! i would like to try a villa 1 time but while its cheaper to do it this way i dont see the point.

In my opinion, villas only become good value for money if there are 4 or more of you.

Now if only BA would fly from Manchester to MCO !!
It wasnt too bad when you could get free regional flights to gatwick, now BA sold the routes on its a bigger pain using BA from gatwick.
Though Virgin from mancheter staying in the Radisson the night before is hard to beat.
Anyone looking at the Raddison take a look at upgrading to a Business class room, the cost wasnt much different when we did it, you get a room on a high floor and breakfast is included. And only a 2 min walk to the bag drop !!
