We just returned to Simon's parents house from a 3 day trip to Cornwall. It was such an incredible place we're already trying to figure out a time when we can return for a week! There is just so much to see there, and we wanted to see it all. Our days were packed full and we didn't even scratch the surface.
Had excellent weather, saw the Eden Project, drove around Bodmin Moor, rode a car ferry, explored Fowey, saw some eye-popping cows with hair all down in their faces, ate at 5 pubs, smashed my fingers in a window, checked out a castle and some guardhouses built by Henry the 8th, had Cornish Pasites, drank local brews, took pictures of carved rocks in fields, caught a cold (or something), went to Jamaica Inn, wandered around a fishing village and saw wild ponies in the New Forest.
All in all, a very cool trip!
Will post pictures when we get back to the States. We're trying to make this a family trip as much as possible (worked until midnight last night, but there you go....), so we're limiting our internet time.
Hope you all had a good week! We miss you!
