we are going to honeymoon to Europe

All right, we got married just and we are going to honeymoon to Europe this August. We can't decide on backpacking or taking a tour. Just want to know if anyone has done the backpacking or tour and what they liked or disliked about it. Have you ever heard Contiki or similar tour company for Europe? Has anyone done this, did you like it? Is backpacking better? Please help me with your positive answer.

Hi and welcome. Can't actually offer any advice as I have never backpacked. But have heard of Contiki. From what I've heard they are ok.
Someone will probably be better equiped to help.
