i have a great tip when on holiday in orlando. when at the theme parks you will always have 2 queues for the main rides. get in the left hand queue.it always goes down the quickest.

Great tip, joska5, and (often) that's very true! :happy-thumb Americans have a natural tendency to drift into the right-hand queue.
Do you have a trip planned soon?

yes .i,m off the first 2 weeks in october.cant wait.i prefer late september or into october, because universal has the halloween horror nights on during these times.its fab.its amazing how universal can turn a normal theme park into o horror park in 2 hours.its pretty intense though,i definitely wouldn,t recommend taking kids there.but for late teens and upwards its a brilliant night out, and its on til 2a.m. are you going this year at all.how many times have you been to orlando

Halloween Horror Nights is one of our favourite seasonal events (Busch Gardens' Howl-O-Scream is great, too). I'm not sure if we're going this year or not.
We live in Orlando, so we've been hundreds of times. ;)

HHN is one of our real local favourites; Universal do a fantastic job with this, although it can get VERY crowded on Fridays and Saturdays (you're also right that it's not really suitable for kids  ).

My brother swore by Cattleman's on the 192. I'm sure they have more than one restaurant in Orlando, though.

For me it would be the Outback. One in Kissimee Westgate, one at Formosa Gardens (Eastgate) and one on Vineland Ave (near to where Dixie Stampede was).

Our favourite steak place is A Land Remembered, but there are loads of great choices, and we'd second either of the places mentioned here.
