Travelling to US/NY then NY to Orlando on Delta near Xmas from Scotland. Great fare.(about £420 each incl taxes)
Friend just travelled Scotland to NY and was very happy with them. Up to date entertainment sytems which had the option to buy (small fee) other films and progs.
However, they (like many others) have recently announced firstly £5 each intrnl sector fuel surcharge and then £30 each sector. Agent warned me so we paid it up and avoided extra costs. So your fare looks good value.
Interestingly I was at airport the other day and they were looking for 2 volunteers to go the next day (offering 1,000 Delta dollars - not real ones) for any volunteers. Not a bad deal.
Delta is a big operator and does seem to be as stable as any of the legacy carriers in the US:)

We flew with Delta from Manchester via NY JFK To Orlando in November 2006. They are one of the best airlines I have ever flown with. The only problem was that Immigration at JFK had only one queue for both transit passengers and those whose journey finished in New York. So we ended up missing our connection, but Delta were fantastic and got us on the next flight.

I've just been 'looking' at flights and found one for £350 in Aug. It's flying with delta and stops in atlanta. Has anyone had a stopover in Atlanta and is 1hour 20 mins enough time? I'm very tempted to book!!!
