........I seem to be doing everything wrong :thumbsdow
Firstly I have booked tickets for just about everything except Universal and Island of Adventure only to now find out that IOA is really good for 3 year olds!!!
And now I find out that Thomas Cook who I have booked with appear to have the worst baggage allowance policies:eek:
Can anyone who has flown recently with TC tell me the usual seat configuration I am flying from Manchester and also how many t.v's etc are on board.....I am flying with a 3 and 6 year old and my husband who will be a nervous wreck as he is terrified of flying.......I need distractions!!!

I wouldn't worry about not doing Universal or IOA, The only real thing for a 3 year old is Suess landing. Most of the other rides have height restrictions. You will have plenty to do in Disney, seaworld and Busch gardens (if you have these tickets) and it is tiring walking round the parks, your kids will set the pace!
Monach have an even worse baggage allowance than TC, 15kg!! We had this last Aug but managed and didn't go over our allowance. Even though my eldest bought LOADS of pairs of converse along with all the other shopping we did!

I would not worry about I of A. My small person does loves Suess land but that's it for him in that park. We have been many times to Orlando, if we had been going for the first time or even 2nd it would not be on our list for us all to do. many many other attractions better. For example, Shamus Happy harbour in Seaworld will keep him happy for hours on end.
Regarding plane seats
I would normally suggest Seat genie as this give all the details of airline seats configaration etc but it only does sheduled airlines (unless I have missed a bit).
However Wikpedia has most of what you want to know. You will just have find out what type make and model they normally use on your route. Link below

Hi
We flew with Thomas Cook when we went in April, although we never booked with them, we booked with TCD.
Personally I found the seats in economy to be very cramped (although I am a larger lady) and very uncomfortable.
We did however have seat back tvs, which is better as you chose what you wanted to watch.
All the while I was flying I kept saying "this is my last time, I can never do this flight again", as soon as we were there that flew straight out of the window and loved every minute of the holiday.
Enjoy !!!!!

Sorry, I forgot to mention that our seat configuration was 3-4-3 and we also flew from Manchester.

I think you'll either be on a 767 or A330 out of Manchester
