From Virgin Holidays' website:

There are also some member photos on V-Flyer (http://www.v-flyer.com/forum/flyer_search.asp?category=6&catname=Lounges&airport=LGW).

The Clubhouse it clearly isn't, but it has to be better than a mobbed departures lounge. We've booked flights only with VA for our November trip (as we always do), but we were somehow able to book the V-Room despite the assertions that this facility is exclusively for VH customers  . I'm looking forward to it, but I suspect we may well be reverting to the Clubhouse for future trips (assuming we're still able to book it, of course).

It looks very nice, however how it will look after loads of people have been in it I'm not so sure (referring to other post about untidy people in planes etc!)
How did you get to book it if you weren't going with VH?
We paid to go into the Clubhouse in April £30 each but well worth it. Hoping we can still book it again next April as we book direct with VA as well.

We booked it through the Frequent Virgin Club (VH's loyalty programme), so maybe that's why we were able to do it. I'm not entirely sure how we came to be members of that, though, either. We have booked fly-drives through VH in the past on a couple of occasions when it worked out cheaper than flights alone through VA, but we haven't done that for years now.

We used to belong to the Frequent Virgin Club but as we hadn't booked with VH for some time preferring to book it all ourselves they cancelled our membership.:tut-tut:
