can you check in 3 hrs before your virgin flight? or is it 2 hrs?

If you check-in on line the night before, you can go as little as about 1½ hours before your flight - drop your bags in and proceed straight through security.

Otherwise they recommend 3 hours.

This year was an exception; we got there far too early as we were in a local guesthouse and using a park and ride service and didn't want to risk being late, plus we were meeting my brother, and finally I had seats to sort out. Last time we got there about 11am for a 12.30pm flight, and it was fine.

We flew with virgin from manchester and I'd say 3 hours. The bag drop queue was just as busy as the normal checkin queue and wasn't moving very quickly. By the time we got through security we only had about half an hour before we boarded.
