I honestly don't think there is a lot of difference these days, martin. My natural inclination is to go with whoever is cheapest, to be honest. BA are probably still the best for service overall, but the others are all reasonably consistent.

before ba was over£550 for a return and now for the same time its£389 the cheapest is continental which is coming up at£318 return which is good value

I've flown BA, Northwest and Continental, and I think I may have flown US Airways. I tend to like BA for their inflight service, but not so much for their prices.

does continental have seat back screens? i just think £318 is a great price as it was over£200 more expensive when i checked a month ago. i think i will have to book soon.i have always steered clear of ba due to price but might give them a try

i much prefer an airline with seat bak screens as i hate straining my neck to see the tv in the aisles! i dont really sleep on flights so the entertainment is a big thing for me

Some planes will, some won't. You need to check the individual airline for what planes operate on what routes; then look up the configuration for that plane. BA has all setback TVs on their planes, though.

We are flying with AA on Tuesday. What routes have you done MM?
Anyone else have anything to say about AA?

I loved flying with Delta in 2006. Their customer service was second to none. We did not have any seatback TVs though.
