US Dollar travellers cheques

Just returned from Orlando - MacDonalds at DTD and The Golden Coral on I Drive no longer take Travellers Cheques as cash payment not sure if theres any other places now doing this.:redconfus

I think Golden Corral have stopped taking travellers cheques for some time now. Didn't know about MacD's though although I have never been in the one in DTD. We tended to use our Nationwide debit and credit card at a few places this time and changed travellers cheques in Disney.

Catlady's observation on the GC is quite right, but earlier this year we had no problems with out (Amex) TCs wherever we used them.

interesting, didnt know that. Although on our last trip we used our fairfx card for all our food purchases.
