Holiday Inn, Harbourside, Clearwater

Has anyone stayed here? We are booked in for the last few days of our holiday over Christmas and wondered how others found it?

Having returned from this holiday I can heartily recommend this hotel. Very good rooms, very relaxed, good food at reasonable prices within the hotel and (as long as you go for the marina view rooms) good views. We had booked a Marina view suite and paid in advance but on arrival were given a free upgrade to one of their condo suites. The hotel is much more relaxed and informal than the standard Holiday Inn concrete block. It is in a resort called Indian Rocks, between Clearwater and St Pete's - not such a nice beach (made of crushed sea shells so a bit more gritty) but more peaceful and only a short drive away in any case. After a wonderful but very hectic 2 weeks in Orlando this was the perfect place to unwind before returning to Winter in the UK..
