Thomas Cook Airlines
 

Would like to hear the views of anyone who has flown with Thomas Cook Airlines. My family are flying with them in September. We have paid for in-flight meals and to sit together on top of everything else but wondered what the planes are like and the service inside.

Your input would be appreciated.

Ive not flown with them, however I have flown with Air 2000, they should be similar aircraft (Boeing 767-200 or 300)


As for in-flight details there will not be seat-back tv screens and the meals would be the usual airline rubbish they allways serve up (Sorry !!)

I have flown with these and are ok. but the food is horrible!(sorry)

I went out with this guys 3 years ago, I have no complaints.

For me the flight is just an end to a means.
I go for the cheapest flight I can find at the time, it is the couple of weeks in the resort that I worry about.
I bring my own entertainment a book, gameboy and a DVD player. I also use noise reduction earphones.

As for the food, it is all pretty much of a much ness.

I think bad experiences go hand in hand with flights as it is the start of the holiday and your excitement and expectations are high. If one little thing goes wrong then you end up letting it get to you, which can spoil the first few days of you holiday. Don't worry to much about the flight just think of the good time you will have once you get there.:)

I suppose this is true but i still think that BA and Virgin are much better even though perhaps more expensive

I have used Thomas Cook a few times and found them ok. As Conor says, get the cheapest flight and worry more about your motel / hotel . Strange I'd eat anything on a plane. It passes the time for me and I'm easy pleased as far as food goes. No wonder I love America so much !!!
