Default New ride or two in Paris?

Anyone know the details of the new Paris rides?

Slinky Dog Zig Zag Spin

RC Racer

and the intriguing one

Toy Soldiers Parachute drop

Thinking of making a post Easter trip.

I must say in the last 3 years they have really impressed me with the growth in the park and the balance of rides etc.

Shame the LIon KIng show has gone but you cant have everything.

Yep. Got 'em in the newest edition of the Paris Brit Guide. It's not on shelves yet, so here's a quick breakdown:

All three are very much in the 'family ride' category, though RC Racer is more intense than the others (probably not for preschoolers!). Slinky Dog is a rather gentle ride with individual cars organized in a 'train' (like a typical dark ride such as Haunted Mansion or Spaceship Earth) on an undulating track, Parachute Drop is a tower ride that goes around, like the swing ride at Old Town, and RC Racer is a little bit like a swinging boat ride and a one-track coaster, in a car on a track (rather than on a lever like Phoenix at Busch Gardens).

Here's a picture with the three rides at the bottom:

It will all be in quite a big expansion area in the Toon Studios area of the Studios at DLP, and there should also be a kids' play area, too. But, ultimately, they are three off-the-shelf rides that don't owe a lot to Imagineering and are pretty standard fairground-type rides (also low capacity, hence long lines, most likely).

Hi there Col - the new edition actually went on sale in March, so it should be in all bookshops by now. You can also get it online:
