Hotel info:
Palm-shaded courtyards, colourful plazas and Spanish-style haciendas all feature at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, a tribute to the beauty and culture of Colonial Spain, Mexico and the American Southwest.
This vibrant family hotel is set around the fifteen-acre Lago Dorado or ‘Lake of Gold’ and comprises three village areas - The Casitas, The Ranchos and The Cabanas - each offering a unique style of accommodation. The main feature is undoubtedly the archaeological-themed dig-site feature pool where kids (and adults!) will love sliding down the five-storey high Mayan Pyramid. There are three other quieter swimming pools dotted throughout the resort and other leisure facilities include a state-of-the-art health club, a video games arcade and boat and bike rentals. At the Maya Grill you can enjoy Nuevo Latino cuisine and if this is not quite to your taste, family favourites can be had at the Pepper Market food court.
