Las Vegas Tours and Tickets

Las Vegas is the natural base from which to explore the World-Famous Grand Canyon.  A selection of thrilling tours are available to suit all budget and time constraints and all include return trip transportation from your Las Vegas hotel with the exception of tours departing within the Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim heliport). 

If you have never visited before then here are a few points that you may wish to note to ensure you purchase the trip that is right for you:

• As a general rule, a Helicopter ride will get you closer to the Canyon and many flights include a descent and landing within the actual walls.
• Airplanes have a greater fuel capacity and can therefore carry you further.  They are mostly used to fly to the South Rim (see below). 
• Coach tours obviously take longer, but afford the opportunity to really appreciate the vast wilderness around you and present some classic photo opportunities. 
• The South Rim of the Canyon is the iconic point from which most images are taken.  Because it is a fair distance from Las Vegas, you will only be able to get here by airplane or coach.  If budget allows it is well worth taking a tour that includes a helicopter flight over the Canyon so that you fully appreciate it at its widest, deepest and most impressive.
• The West Rim of the Canyon includes a landing area which allows for an incredible descent through 4000 feet to land on the floor.  This is also the nearest point to alight for the extraordinary Skywalk.
• The Skywalk opened in early 2007, and is the realisation of a long held dream to actually “walk on air” over the Canyon itself.  A projected glass walkway allows guests to experience one of the most unique views on the planet!
