Departure Location:
The New York Helicopter Tours depart from the Downtown Manhattan Heliport located at Pier 6 and the East River and VIP Heliport at West 30th and 12th Avenue.
Flight Times:
Flights depart every 15 minutes from 9.00am to 9.00pm (6.30pm at the Downtown Manhattan Heliport).
The flight operator reserves the right to upgrade, alter or terminate any or all of sightseeing tours at their discretion due to security or force majeure situations including inclement weather. In the event that a flight is cancelled, Attraction Tickets Direct will issue a full refund.
Advance reservations are recommended. For those booking online, a member of our reservations team will contact you to get your chosen date and time. You can choose to leave your ticket open-dated and book a time locally be calling the toll free number on your voucher once you have finalised your itinerary. Please remember flights are subject to availability.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a combined Security Fee/Passenger Service Charge of $30 per person that must be paid upon check-in. Unfortunately this cannot be paid in advance

Where do the flights depart from? There are two heliports in New York:
Downtown Heliport, Pier 6 and the East River. Open Monday – Saturday from 9am to 6.30pm or
VIP Heliport, West 30th & 12th (Mid-town). Open Daily from 9am to 9pm.
Do I need to book a date in advance?
No, you may book an open dated voucher which is particularly useful if you are buying a gift for someone. However, during peak periods of the year it is best to confirm a date with us before you travel. At these times we will place notification on the website or if you have already booked an open voucher, we will contact you to advise.
Why do I need to pay a passenger handling fee and security fee upon check-in?
These are mandatory fees imposed by the heliports and must be paid at the heliport upon check-in
How many people can ride in a helicopter? Each helicopter seats up to 7 passengers plus the pilot. If you purchase the Romance over Manhattan tour, then you pay for the whole helicopter and will not share with others
Will I be affected if I suffer from motion sickness? The natural motion of the helicopter can cause some sickness if you are prone to it.
