Built at the height of the roaring twenties, the Shearwater is currently the largest, most classic sailing yacht in New York Harbour. At 70 tons, she is twice the weight of most sailboats which results in an exceptionally comfortable cruise. Her elegant design is a hallmark of bygone times when the city started to embrace the heavens and everything was conceived in exquisite detail. It should come as no surprise to find that she has been used as a backdrop for many a glamorous photo-shoot and Time Out New York exclaims that a trip on her is "a sublime experience". Enjoy spectacular views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and Brooklyn Bridge, as well as the famous skyline of course. Be warned that time passes very quickly in such graceful and comfortable surroundings!
Operates: Daily from 24 April - 17 October 2010
Start Time: Monday to Saturday: 12.30pm and 2.45pm; Sundays: 2.00pm.
Includes: 90-minute sailing cruise around New York Harbour aboard the Shearwater and one free drink (beer, wine or a soft drink).

Departure Point: North Cove Marina at the World Financial Centre.
