Our Guide to Richard Petty NASCAR Driving Experiences
Richard Petty Driving Experiences is based at Walt Disney World Speedway within Walt Disney World Florida (please note that admission tickets for WDW are NOT required). There are 4 Richard Petty Driving Experiences to choose from and the driving experiences take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays:
- Ride-a-long Experience: Experience real life racing thrills by riding shotgun in a 2-seat stock car driven by a professional instructor for a simulated 3-lap NASCAR qualifying run at speeds exceeding 150 MPH. Participants must be at least 14 years old.
- Rookie Experience: Your foot is on the gas as you hop into the driver’s seat for 8 laps around the speedway in a 358 cubic inch V-8 NASCAR-style race car roaring with 600 horsepower!
- Kings Experience: Consisting of 18 laps* in 2 power packed sessions. You will receive one-on-one feedback from the Pit Road Instructor and crew during the break before putting your new found knowledge into practice on a further 10 laps
- Experience of a lifetime: You will be taught how to improve your driving line, handle the car and increase your speed further through a massive 30 heart-pounding laps!
Each Richard Petty package is built to offer something a little different; you do not need to start at the Rookie experience.
