Reviews of SeaWorld® Orlando

Sea World’s a good place to start your holiday because it’s not as big as some of the other parks and it gets you used to the map reading and scheduling your time. Try and arrive at the shows 20 minutes before the start, a good seat is priceless. Sea World always seems to be busy at weekends. Avoid at these times if you can. Monday and Tuesday seem to be the quietest.
Must see / Do:
Kraken is superb! This was the first ride I went on in Orlando and talk about setting the standard. I don’t think any other ride bettered it throughout my 2 weeks!

Having never been to Orlando before, my family and I were all very excited that we were finally going to the theme park capital of the world. We couldn’t wait to meet Mickey and the crew, pop to Universal Studios to ride the movies, but to our surprise our favourite theme park in Orlando turned out to be SeaWorld. What a brilliant few days we had finding out everything there is to know about marine animals as well as riding some great rides, including Kraken a floorless roller coaster and seeing some great shows. Our favourite was definitely the Shamu Killer Whale Show, which was fantastic. It amazed me how the killer whales actually appeared to be quite graceful and elegant considering their size! Also, be prepared to get wet if you sit in the first 16 rows! We also loved the Journey to Atlantis roller/water coaster ride and Wild Arctic, which is a simulator ride based on a helicopter flight to the Arctic. The kids loved feeding the dolphins and stingrays, but make sure you pick up a park map to tell you when the feeding times are as it isn’t all day long. We ate at the Shark Grill and the food (and the company – which was a huge shark tank full of sharks and reef fish) was excellent. I personally recommend the crab cakes, which were delicious!!
We are now in the process of booking our next trip back and will definitely go back to SeaWorld.

We had not been to Seaworld for about 3 years and it really has been improved and there is so much to see.We went on the Adventure Express tour though it cost extra it was well worth it, we had our own guide and we learnt so much more because of that.We feed the dolphins and sea lions and had reserved seats at most of the shows and the price included a lunch.
The shows are really good, my youngest really enjoyed Clyde and Seamore take Pirate Island and it was very funny with of course the sswea lions misbehaving.Of course we went to see Shamu and we had to sit in the wet area and wse did get splashed by Shamu but as it was warm and sunny we soon dried off.We went through the shark encounter which is really amazing, you go through a clear tunnel and the sharks are swimming above you and around you .We had to go to the Dolphin nursery to see the calves.
I am not too good with roller coasters but my family had a great time on Kraken which is floorless one but even I went on Journey to Atlantis which is part coaster and part water ride.
Infact we ran out of time and so we took the advice that the girl from Attraction Tickets Direct gave us and went back the next afternoon to see more of the animals and go on the rides again. Then we stayed and watched the evening Shamu show which was just fantastic.
We would certainly go back to Seaworld.
