Review : This was the first time my family had visited Animal Kingdom and were not quite sure what to expect but there was certainly enough going on to interest the whole family.
We started on the Kilimanjaro safaris and it is certainly a really big area and we did see a lot of animals and they were really roaming around free and not in cages which is what we expected .Also in the Africa area was the Exploration trail and again there was so many animals to see from gorillas to under water hippos which were having such a fun time in the water.
My daughter is into conservation so she really was interested in Planet watch and spent ages going round the conservation station which showed allo about the veterinary care the animals have there.Mind you everyone enjoyed the petting yard with all the friendly animals.
After the learning bit we went onto Discovery island and all had a laugh at It's tough to be a bug and Mickey's jungle parade. The boys couldn't wait to get on the Kali river rapids and of course they got soaked but as it was so warm it didn't take long to dry off.
We were not sure if we would have enough time to do both Tarzan Rocks and Festival of the Lion King but I am glad we did because both shows are brilliant well worth seeing both.
As we hadn't seen it all we came back just for the morning and went on Dinosaur which was a fantastic ride and the dinosaurs were so life like.It is certainly well worth the visit.
