Had a great time with my parents at Epcot, haven't been for over 10 years, lots of new stuff to see, they have totally refurbished Future World.
Big thrills are Mission Space the newly opened attraction, feel what its like being a real Astronaut really cool, feel the full force of a space launch you are shot into space, 0 gravity and all that,
Another relatively new ride is Test Track get in and drive a grand prix through testing and a practice lap nearly a mile long, not for the faint hearted this one, Mum stayed behind and looked after all our stuff. Soarin has just opened you can feel the sensation of gliding over Yosemite National Park and other Pacific wonders.
Revisited Honey i shrunk the kids always good for a laugh and in 3D, Mum nearly wet herself from laughing.
Good idea is to leave the World Showcase until early evening, and go fo a meal in one of the many Country pavilions situated around a vast lake, if you haven't been to a particular country it gives you a good insight into what a country has to offer, you can visit Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, USA even!!!,Japan, Morocco, France, Canada and the UK, whets cool about it is that they employ students from all of the countries to give you a real authentic feel and even down to food if your feeling homesick you can pop into the rose and crown in the UK pavilion and have a pint of john smiths and some fish and chips, unfortunately i am just 18 and can't legally drink in the US until you are 21, so a good tip is to take photo ID everywhere with you, new style driving licence works a treat better than taking a passport. my sister had to use it everywhere she is just 21, so it was kind of painful watching my big sister being able to drink and me having to drink Coke.
Illuminations
We finished after dinner waiting for the fireworks around the lake, the most impressive fireworks i had ever seen, a must do when in Orlando and a great finale to a wonderful day at Epcot.

Loved Epcot! Mission Space and Test Track were the biggest plus! The queues are really big for these ones so definitely a fast-pass option if you have one. Mission Space didn’t feel like you were spinning, it’s weird to describe. You need to do it! Absolutely loved Test Track, went on it 5 times. Feels miles faster than 65mph!!
Must see / Do:
There’s absolutely loads to do but the Fast Track does it for me. It’s one of the longest and fastest rides out there!
From: Mini Minnie
Favourite Ride: Fast Track, Spaceship Earth.
Tips: Go straight to Fast Track to get a fast pass as the queue for Fast Track is long and slow as the cars only take six people at a time. If you don't get a fast pass early the time slots quickly go. Height restriction for Fast Track is 40".
Really enjoyed the world showcase and had a pint in the Rose and Crown Pub at the England Pavillion. Ate at the San Angel Inn in the Mexico Pavillion which had a lovely atmosphere and then stayed to watch the illuminations - Reflections of Earth - which are spectacular.
Left it really late to purchase our tickets. Got them through Attraction Tickets Direct, who a friend had told us about. They suggested the 7 day premium ticket, which was being sold for the same price as the 5 day premium ticket. The tickets arrived 2 days later by special delivery. Would certainly use them again.
At Epcot®, guests can end an exciting day with Illuminations: Reflections
of Earth, a nighttime spectacular filled with thunderous fireworks, sky-piercing
lasers and a high-energy soundtrack.
