Default Where to find free Wi-Fi in Central Florida

This might be handy info for anyone looking to travel with their laptop (and post day-by-day Trip Reports!). There are quite a few places offering free Wi-Fi in the Orlando area these days and you can check these two sources for advance info:

    The Sentinel: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/...7.story?page=1

    In Florida: http://www.wififreespot.com/fl.html

Bear in mind some things DO change (the Sentinel lists the Bear Rock Cafe on Millenia Way, but this closed last year), so check in advance, then enjoy the free service!

There are now also several free WiFi spots around WDW:

    • Contemporary - Main Lobby, Convention Center Hallway, Feature Pool
    • Coronado Springs - Main Lobby, Convention Center Hallway, Feature Pool, Francisco's
    • Grand Floridian - Main Lobby, Convention Center Hallway, Beach Pool
    • Yacht & Beach Club - Main Lobbies, Convention Center Hallway, Stormalong Bay Pool
    • Innoventions East, Epcot
    • Wide World of Sports

Several other spots inside the parks have also been reported including the area around City Hall at MK.

ETA: Apologies - I'm getting a bit ahead of myself it seems. WiFi access at the convention hotels is chargeable ($9.95 per 24 hour period; $4.95 for one hour). It is free at WWoS. I'm not sure about the park locations.

Worth pointing out, as this thread has been bumped up from 6 years ago which may be tad confusing, that parks are mainly all wifi enabled as now are many/most places in Orlando. Partly due to the advent and needs of mydisney experience apps etcAlso less hotels etc charge than 6 years ago as it's seen as essential now

Yes, that's very true. ALL the parks now have free WiFi (although the signal strength can be a bit sketchy) and most restaurants have it, too. Large parts of downtown Orlando are free WiFi enabled while some smaller attractions like Fun Spot have free WiFi in various places.
