    Default Virgin A330

Anybody heard or got feedback about the Virgin A330s now that they are in service?

Looks nice. But I wonder how well it copes (and what the food's like!) when it's full?

According to the Virgin Holidays magazine I received a few weeks back, the first goes into operation between Manchester and Orlando "in April", and the second between Gatwick and Orlando next month. "The remaining eight aircraft will be delivered over the next two years." Has the first actually launched yet?

VS75 from Man has been on the A330 since Saturday. Today's flight was very late leaving MAN though. Should have left at 1100, but didn't go until 1325. VS73 (a 747) left on time at 1345 and will arrive 1820, about 40 minutes before the 'earlier' flight!

Ouch. Not good for a plane that has only been used for 5 days. I wonder what was wrong?

Just read the comments under the bit that cat lady posted. Looks like a few issues. The Virgin person writing it states no dates for Gatwick yet:eek:
Others note that the touchscreen means you can have a person tapping behind your head on a screen for hours:eek:Eek.
It looks nice but a number of people note that many other PE is now better than Virgin etc. I think that it's just a nice improvement on the old planes but as many have said before, Virgin are now really just ok followers rather than the leaders they once were. As a full cost airline, they are introducing services that many had five years ago. Interesting comment from one poster suggesting that the crew rest area was missing
