    Default October Weather

I know a few of you have been in October, but just wondered what the weather was like. Thanks for any views.

October is a gorgeous month. Hot during the day, but cooling off in the evening, with lower humidity than summer. It's similar to May. Little rain, beautiful days, pleasant mornings and evenings. Some say October (along with May) is the perfect month for a visit.

Having survived the summer, we adore October.

October is when we see the first change in weather since May! It can still be pretty hot but, usually, the humidity dies off and it becomes really nice in the morning and evening (often idyllic in the evenings). It IS still part of Hurricane Season but big storms in October are rare and it is generally one of the nicest months of the year (especially in late October).

We have been in October and would liken it to May. The only difference is it gets darker earlier...

We are thinking of a 'run out' at the end of Sept beginning of Oct.

You're probably still going to get a good taste of the summer heat and humidity at the end of September, TBH. It doesn't usually really start to change until mid-October at the earliest.

Weather was lovely in Oct. the first time it was a little colder and we had to buy a jacket but it was only until it warmed up.

we went the last week of september tan the first week of october a few years back and for us it was the best trip we had (apart from the fact DS wasn't with us) from the point of view it was quiet and the weather was great. If i remember right we only had one day of rain on the last day.
