    Default Florida Cup Soccer Tournament

This is definitely one for anyone who is in town Jan 10-15, but the 2018 Florida Cup soccer tournament is definitely going to be worth catching as it features six games in Orlando for the first time (plus one each in Fort Lauderdale and St Petersburg), as well as the first British club - Scotland's Rangers FC - in the 4-year history of the event. The format is a loose round-robin event, but the main feature is that it showcases top footy talent from South America and Europe in a pre-season style event, which is usually great for seeing the players perform without the usual must-win pressure. Next year's event will feature 30-plus players who will all be on the World Cup stage next summer, including from top Brazilian club Corinthians, PSV Eindhoven from Holland and Legia Warsaw, as well as Rangers and teams from Ecuador and Colombia.

The tournament has been building steadily since its inception in 2015, and the Orlando games this year will be held at either the Orlando City Stadium or the University of Central Florida stadium (Spectrum Stadium). Ticket prices start from just $20, and there are also family specials (5 for the price of 4, etc) while, for football nerds, there is the debut of the official World Cup 2018 ball, the Telstar 18!
