We have been down in wonderful Fort Lauderdale this week for the annual Florida Huddle travel convention that puts all things Floridian into the tourism spotlight for 4 days and allows us to cherry-pick the best stories and the best aspects of the Sunshine State to follow up on for the rest of the year (like all the forthcoming new hotels, attractions and eco-tours). This will form the basis of much of what we do in 2018, and it will also be the subject of our next blog for ATD. However, we raced back overnight in order to attend the media preview of this year's International Festival of the Arts, which started today and runs through until February 19 (we'll also have a blog about it in due course!). That means we have been chasing our tails pretty much all week and is our (feeble) excuse as to why the Florida Huddle blog won't be online until Monday.

Until then, here's a pic of the nerve centre at Veness Towers this evening...
