Default City Works Eatery & Pour House coming to Disney Springs in 2019

A decent sports bar is a glaring omission from Disney Springs in my view and this one looks pretty fancy if the one at Doral is anything to go by!

NBC Sports Grill & Brew at Citywalk has done well, so it will be interesting to see how this one works. Also interesting that they're going to attempt Brunch.

Sounds like another good choice for DS, but I'm struggling to think where it will actually fit in to the West Side, unless they knock something else down? This view...

...makes it look like it will be on the end of the building that used to be DisneyQuest, facing the Cirque building, but that is now being built as the NBA Experience. Is it possible that the NBA won't take the whole building, and CityWorks will take one end of it??

It looks a bit like the outside area of Splitsville.

Yes, it could be, but Splitsville certainly seems to do well enough that I doubt they'd be willing to make that kind of major change. In some ways it could fit well with the NBA concept as it builds on the sports bar image, but I'm struggling to think where else it would fit in West Side.

Looks as though you've got it spot on, Simon. Check the comments in the official Disney Parks Blog announcement.

Aha! Yes, it definitely makes sense. It does make you wonder what the NBA Experience will actually be, if not a glorified sports bar, though. Who's really interested in basketball if it becomes some type of museum to the sport rather than somewhere that's more interactive, fun - and tasty?!
