Default Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

This annual Fall fiesta is now under way, with the first Party of the Halloween season taking place last Friday (Aug 16), and on select dates now until Nov 1. We will have a full ATD blog about it in due course, but here's our video of the full Mickey's 'Boo To You' Parade, which is one of the undoubted event highlights:

Fantastic array of characters. And who doesn't like a Disney Parade?

Just odd to see Halloween in August!!

The good thing, TF, was that we got a genuine autumn-like evening for the event. It was really pleasant - unlike today, when it's 92F/33C, with the Heat Index taking it to 103/39!!!

It IS early, but we can understand why Disney is doing it. The party was packed, so there's clearly demand.

I thought I'd feel really odd about being there so early, but it really was just good Halloween fun.

Great video, we watched it while eating dinner tonight and got 'home' sick for the park.

I'd rather they had more parties with fewer people at them than tried to pack ever more people into the ones from late September onward.
5 Trips to Florida, Christmas in LA, Disneyland Paris twice and odd days here and there.

All my trip reports are now HERE.

Yes, the crowds were really noticeable, but it might have been because this was the first night and there are still summer crowds around, with more people able to take advantage. Hopefully it will quieten down in September.
