Situated at the top of London’s tallest building, The View from The Shard offers unrivalled 360 degree panoramic views, stretching over 40 miles of London’s skyline for as far as the eye can see.
Our guide to The View from The Shard
The equivalent of the height of 57 double decker buses, The View from The Shard is a must do for all visitors, enabling guests to experience the capital like never before. The journey begins in the extraordinary high-speed lifts that carry you to the show stopping heights of the viewing galleries on level 69 and 72, where you can see all the iconic landmarks at once.
Head up to the ‘open-air skydeck’ and be exposed to the sounds and elements of the city below. This is an amazing, exciting and truly memorable experience.
Departure Location: 32 London Bridge Street close to London Bridge Station.
Departs: Daily, year round except Christmas Day.
Duration: A standard visit lasts approximately one hour, allowing ample time for you to relax and enjoy the city skyline at your leisure as there is no time restriction on your visit.
Start Times: Open daily from 9.00am to 9.00pm, except during Winter when the Shard closes at 6.00pm.

Terms and conditions for The View from The Shard
- You are not required to complete The View experience within a time limit so can enjoy at your leisure. Average view time is around 90 minutes.
- Child prices apply to children aged 4-15 years. Infants aged 3 and under are admitted without charge but must have a valid entry ticket. Please select infant at time of purchase.
- Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult otherwise they may be refused entry.
- Family ticket is valid for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children.
- Disabled Access: There are two express lifts that will take you up to floor 69. There are 2 flights of stairs up to The View. Additional provision is provided for those that are unable to climb the stairs.
- All visitors will be subject to airport style search so please allow sufficient time for entry.
- Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. 100% cancellation charges apply.
