Hold onto your Mickey ears because Disneyland® Paris is about to embark on a magical transformation like never before! Get ready to dive into the enchanting world of beloved Disney Characters and stories as Walt Disney Studios® Park undergoes an expansion of epic proportions, starting with an exciting new name: Disney Adventure World.
With the grand opening of World of Frozen, the park's footprint is set to nearly double, promising an adventure-packed experience for visitors of all ages. Imagine stepping into the snowy wonderland of Arendelle and immersing yourself in the magic of Elsa, Anna, and Olaf as never before.
But that's just the tip of the iceberg! As Disney Adventure World takes shape, guests will be welcomed by a brand-new park entrance called World Premiere. Starting in Spring 2025, this new entrance sequence will transport guests into a vibrant, contemporary open-air movie studio, where they'll be welcomed to a glamorous movie premiere right in the heart of Hollywood. The new art-deco-inspired World Premiere Plaza is already beginning to take shape as recent guests will have seen.
This new entrance will lead to a host of new experiences and attractions designed to whisk you away into the heart of iconic Disney tales. Along a brand-new promenade called Adventure Way guests will discover a new family attraction, Raiponce Tangled Spin, which will have you spinning through the iconic lantern scene from Tangled. This will also be home to Regal View Restaurant and Lounge, a new table-service dining location with spectacular views and the chance to meet some of your favourite Disney Princesses!
Adventure Way will lead to the stunning Adventure Bay - the heart of the park’s expansion. Adventure Bay will not only be the gateway to all these new experiences but will also offer a new water-based entertainment experience with 360-degree viewing of fountains, music, lights and special effects.
According to Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland® Paris, this transformation represents a fresh creative vision that will redefine the park, offering unique adventures in immersive worlds that perfectly complement the magic of Disneyland® Park.
But what’s coming in 2024?
Don’t worry if you already have a trip planned in 2024 because there are plenty of new experiences to enjoy this year too!
Alice & The Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland will be debuting at Walt Disney Studios Park on May 25th. This new show will feature high-flying acrobats in a pop and rock showdown inspired by Alice in Wonderland, and with two possible endings decided by the audience, you’ll want to factor in enough time to see it at least twice!
And the fun won’t stop when the sun goes down because a new nighttime show will be coming to Marvel Avengers Campus at the end of the year, showcasing a new immersive Super Hero storyline using projections, music and special effects.
The transformation of Disney Village® is also continuing, and a new Disney lifestyle shop and Disney home store will be opening by the end of the year. Other refurbishments, including the LEGO Store and Disney Store, will follow at a later date.
