When you check in to your Disney Resort hotel, all your dining plan credits will be loaded onto your Disney band or card. You'll have access to your credits from the beginning of your holiday, so you can splurge on some days and eat light on others depending on your plans. To use your credits, touch your Disney band or card to the magic point when purchasing your meals and snacks. Your receipt will then detail how many credits were used in that transaction, and how many you have left. You can also check your credit balance on the My Disney Experience app^. 

The Quick-Service Meal Plan and the Disney Dining Plans also qualify for a Refillable Resort Mug. These can be picked up from the quick-service dining location at your Disney Resort hotel and used for unlimited refills of fountain soda, tea and coffee from Quick-Service restaurants at any Disney Resort Hotel (cannot be used in the Disney Parks, Water Parks or Disney Springs locations).
