Our guide to Wilsons Promontory Day Tour

Embarking from Melbourne at 8:00 am, our adventure takes us on a captivating journey through the picturesque Gippsland region, leading us to the southernmost tip of mainland Australia – Wilson's Promontory.

Spanning an impressive 50,512 hectares, fondly referred to as "The Prom," this was Australia's inaugural National Park, established in 1898. To this day, it remains one of Victoria's most cherished natural gems. This unspoiled slice of wilderness promises to ignite the imagination and captivate even the most discerning traveller, boasting sweeping panoramas, pristine ivory beaches, coastal woodlands, refreshing temperate rainforests, and meticulously maintained footpaths.

The Prom is the residence of an array of marsupials, including kangaroos and wombats, as well as an abundance of native birdlife and other indigenous creatures like emus, which, with a touch of good fortune, you may encounter up close. The ultimate way to explore this pristine wilderness is on foot, where you'll relish leisurely strolls along spectacular trails and be serenaded by the silken white quartz sands of Squeaky Beach.

Opportunities abound, whether it's a tranquil rainforest walk through Lilly Pilly Rainforest or a mesmerizing ascent to the summit of Mount Bishop, via a comfortably graded walking trail, to relish awe-inspiring panoramic views.

Rest assured, our group size is guaranteed not to exceed 24 guests, ensuring ample opportunities to immerse yourself in the splendors of nature. Our friendly & engaging guides are committed to helping you craft lasting travel memories.
